Improved focus
Better outcomes
ARNE Health is a Dutch MedTech company dedicated to improving focus and outcomes in the care of newborn and preterm babies who need immediate life support at birth.
WHAT WE DO
At ARNE, we’re transforming newborn care with cutting-edge clinical technology. Each year, 10% of newborns require immediate life support, and 1% need major interventions—demanding rapid, high-stakes decisions from healthcare professionals.
While the Newborn Life Support (NLS) protocol is vital, its paper-based format can contribute to errors in up to 55% of emergencies, potentially leading to serious outcomes.
The ARNE Clinical Decision Support System delivers real-time, digital guidance based on the latest NLS guidelines. By reducing cognitive load and minimizing errors, it supports better, faster decisions—when every second counts.

We are a leading Dutch MedTech company, revolutionizing neonatal care through cutting-edge medical software and devices. Our mission is to improve procedural performance, streamline clinical workflows, and enhance training—ultimately leading to better outcomes for both newborns and caregivers.
Based on an invention of Dr. Tim Antonius at Radboud UMC, ARNE’s Clinical Decision Support System integrates the International Newborn Life Support (NLS) guidelines with real-time vital sign monitoring, supporting clinical teams in critical moments. With over 30 years of experience, we provide dedicated sales and support across Europe and collaborate with global distribution partners to extend our impact worldwide.

INTRODUCING THE ARNE SOLUTION
Why do we need a Clinical Decision Support Device in the delivery room for Newborn Life Support procedures?
Birth is a critical and complex event. Nearly 10% of all newborns require life support immediately after delivery, and in about 1% of cases, intensive interventions are necessary for survival.
In high-stakes specialties like neonatology, pediatrics, anesthesia, and obstetrics, healthcare providers often face time-sensitive decisions during neonatal emergencies. To guide these responses, the globally recognized Newborn Life Support (NLS) protocol — also referred to as the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) — was developed. However, this protocol exists only in static formats such as PDFs or printed manuals, which are impractical to consult during acute crises.
The result? In up to 55% of cases, critical errors are made — often due to stress, complexity, or time constraints — potentially leading to severe complications or even neonatal death. These challenges are universal, affecting all birth settings worldwide.
To solve this, ARNE has developed the world’s first Clinical Decision Support System (CDSS) for neonatal resuscitation. This groundbreaking tool delivers real-time, evidence-based guidance to clinicians during newborn life support procedures, aiming to reduce human error and improve outcomes for the most vulnerable patients.
